Kubota stands out as one of the few manufacturers with a century of experience and technology in independently researching and producing engines. In the field of small industrial diesel engines (below 100 horsepower), Kubota’s dominant position has always remained unshakable.

The KX155-5 mini excavator features the V2403-M-DI-E3 engine, boasting a rated output power of up to 40 horsepower (29.2 kW) and a displacement of 2434 cubic centimeters. This powerful output, combined with Kubota’s unique load-sensing hydraulic system, ensures the KX155-5’s strong operational power, meeting the demands of various harsh working conditions. It can easily start even on cold mornings and maintains low noise levels and fuel economy.

Load-Sensing Hydraulic System

The KX155-5 is equipped with Kubota’s acclaimed load-sensing hydraulic system. This system allocates the required hydraulic oil flow based solely on the magnitude of the control lever’s movement, regardless of the load size, allowing for easy operation according to the operator’s intentions. Additionally, due to the small engine load, unnecessary loss of flow can be avoided, enabling various micro-movement operations and compound operations.

Zero Tail Swing

The KX155-5 features a zero-tail swing structure, with the rear of the upper body protruding only 80mm when rotating, allowing it to operate freely even in narrow spaces.

Automatic Idle Speed for Fuel Efficiency

After the control lever has been idle for 4 seconds, the engine automatically switches to idle operation. When the control lever is operated again, the engine immediately returns to its original speed. This feature helps reduce fuel consumption and overall noise levels, allowing for safe operation even in urban areas and at night.

Eco Mode

Equipped with the latest Eco mode, simply press the Eco button, and the engine speed will be automatically set to the economical speed. Operating in Eco mode can significantly save fuel costs compared to operating at maximum speed.

Large Fuel Tank

Responding to the practical needs of Chinese customers, the KX155-5 mini excavator is specially equipped with a 100-liter large-capacity fuel tank. This large fuel tank reduces the frequency of refueling on-site, making it convenient for owners and improving work efficiency.

Centralized Greasing

The KX155-5 mini excavator consolidates the grease filling points around the front working device on the right side, reducing the operator’s workload and preventing the inadvertent omission of grease filling points.

TOPS/FOPS Cab

Adopts a TOPS/FOPS cab (with safety belt) that complies with national standards, enhancing the safety of operators.

Accumulator

Ensures that the working device can be lowered to the ground even in abnormal shutdown situations, greatly protecting the safety of operators and inspectors.

Front Instrument Panel

The instrument panel is adjusted from the original right position to the front, tilted upwards, simple and clear, and easy to observe.

Simple and Easy Maintenance

The KX155-5 mini excavator adopts a fully open engine hood, with maintenance positions concentrated on the rear and right side. Maintenance positions related to the engine are all concentrated on the rear side.
